Friday I went to my first Cardinal game ever! I was nervous about how I would do. I didn’t know there would be so many people there. I was afraid my body would not work at all. Going was exciting! There were so many things to see. I didn’t know so many people like the Cardinals! My favorite part was hearing the crowd cheer when we got the home run. I just didn’t like how loud the music was. It made it hard for my body to be under control. Going made me feel like a normal kid! Cardinal baseball is my new big thing! It is a bag (lots) of fun! Feeling the happiness of a great time! Can’t wait to go back to see another game. Feeling like going for me was a big step. If I can handle the game I can handle a lot! Going was amazing to describe. My favorite player is Wainwright because he is an awesome pitcher!
We stayed until the top of the seventh inning and the Cardinals won! We made it for a long time. I didn’t think I would be able to stay that long but I did! I went with my mom and dad and that was special because I got them all to myself! That doesn’t happen very often.
I’m really glad there was a place for me to go when it was loud! It was humbling to see everyone help me there like the usher and the event staff. Just made me feel welcome. Built by honor for other people. I never thought I could help other people understand me but I did. We talked to nice ladies who learned about me and were so excited. That made me feel godly, that God was using me. God was certainly with me that night! Thank you Kelsey and Greg and the Cardinals for my best day ever!
